Staying with AJ Home Rentals in The Villages? Paid rental guests use a Temporary Resident Lifestyle ID to access eligible Villages lifestyle and recreation privileges during their stay. We'll walk you through exactly how to request your IDs, where to pick them up, what to bring, and what to do if more than two guests are staying in the home.

How to Request Your IDs
Your Step-by-Step Timeline
Follow these six steps from reservation email to pickup. We've done this many times — here's exactly what to do.
- Step 1
Find Your Reservation Confirmation Email
Locate your AJ Home Rentals reservation confirmation email. You will need your Reservation ID, property information, arrival date, and departure date.
- Step 2
Visit "Getting Ready for Your Stay"
Your confirmation email links to the AJ Home Rentals Getting Ready for Your Stay page. From there, select the Temporary Resident Lifestyle ID Request Form.
- Step 3
Complete Every Field Carefully
This is the most important step — errors here can delay processing. Read the address requirement and the do-not notice below before you fill out the form.
Your Address Must Match Your ID
Each guest requesting a Temporary Resident Lifestyle ID must enter their permanent home address exactly as it appears on the government-issued photo ID they will use at pickup.

Do NOT enter the AJ rental home's address.
Use the guest's permanent address exactly as it appears on their identification.

- • Each guest must have their own unique information.
- • Do not duplicate Guest 1 information into Guest 2.
- • Names should match the government-issued ID being presented.
- • Incorrect or incomplete information may delay the ID request.

AJ Home Rentals Submits the Request
Once you submit the form, AJ Home Rentals reviews the information and submits the request to The Villages on your behalf. AJ Home Rentals does not physically produce or issue the cards — The Villages issues the Temporary Resident Lifestyle IDs. Submit your request before arrival whenever possible.

Arrive in The Villages
You do not need to pick up the Lifestyle IDs before you check into the rental. Once the rental period has started, you may go to the assigned Villages Sales & Information Center.
Tip:Check into your AJ rental first, then pick up your IDs whenever it is convenient after your approved rental period has begun. - Step 6
Pick Up and Pay
Bring your government-issued photo identification, $50 payment, and reservation information (if available). Payment is made directly to The Villages at pickup.

The Villages currently charges a $50 non-refundable processing fee per household/property for up to two Temporary Resident Lifestyle IDs. Payment is made directly to The Villages at pickup. Accepted payment: cash or check (payable to The Villages). Credit and debit cards are not accepted.

What If More Than Two People Are Staying?
When Your Group Is Larger Than Two
The Villages allows a maximum of two Temporary Resident Lifestyle IDs per property. Here's how it works for a larger group.

Once the two Temporary Resident Lifestyle ID holders receive their IDs and member numbers, they may request Guest IDs for additional people staying with them, subject to The Villages' Guest ID eligibility rules.
The team at the Sales & Information Center issuing the Temporary Resident Lifestyle IDs can explain the Guest ID process and provide instructions for obtaining Guest IDs for additional guests.
Guest IDs are appropriate for additional visitors. They are not a substitute for the primary paid renters' Temporary Resident Lifestyle IDs.
